It’s soooo good…

….and it started with a little Brinkman upright smoker in my backyard in ‘89…then it spread to my front yard…then my neighbor’s yard…then it caught the neighborhood Yard Sale by surprise....next it spread to a friend's hardware store...then it moved up the street to a local festival. We're not talking about a

fire…we’re talking about Barbecue here.

So you ask what makes Bruces soooo good? We start with only the freshest and highest quality products

available in the industry. We precook all of our meats and smoke each one for a minimum of 4 hours over a hickory fire. After the smoke process we take each product and prepare each one by hand then follow the Golden Rule of BBQ ‘low and slow’ for a minimum of 14 more hours. We also work with each of our Side Items individually while we follow each of our recipes to the letter, to ensure that you receive a great tasting and consistent product every time you visit one of our stores.

Each staff member at Bruce’s Smokehouse & Ball Park Grill are Company Certified in the culinary
barbecue industry and have been instructed and tested on each item and how to prepare and create every one of our menu products, something that we believe, is an important part of the success of any restaurant, not just the barbecue ones. Our thought is…if every staff member knows how to make everything on the menu…then the chance of inconsistency is minimized.

So, now that our staff is up to speed and the products we use are the best available, all we need now is
a great sauce…no wait…some great sauces. We’ve looked at the 4 areas of the country known for
barbecue and developed a sauce that compliments each of those areas, Memphis, Kansas City, Carolina’s and Texas.

So there you have it...it's not just one thing that makes us SOOOOO GOOD, it's a combination of

numerous items all coming together every morning for one purpose and that’s to provide you an affordable, great tasting, consistent product in a clean friendly environment…everyday!
